RULE BOOK DISCLAIMER

The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events
and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of
all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these
rules. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF OR
COMPLIANCE WITH, THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of
the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator or official. The
race director shall be empowered to permit minor deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose
any further restrictions that in their opinion do not alter the minimum acceptable requirements. NO
EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF
SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the track officials.
Their decision is FINAL!!


GENERAL RULES - ALL CLASSES

APPEARANCE: Car number of contrasting color to the car required on both doors, on Top of the car, on the
Right Front Corner of the Windshield, Right Front Corner of the car and Rear Right Bumper. No 3 digits or
letters. Door numbers will be a mandatory 18 inches high, with a 3 inch stroke. Driver's Name will appear over
both doors in letters at least 4 inches high. All cars must be kept neat and in good appearance and are subject
to track official's discretion.

BATTERY: Must be out of driver's compartment, enclosed, securely mounted and separated from driver and/or
fuel tank by sealed fire wall. Must arrive at the track fully charged. Subject to track approval.

BRAKES: Foot operated, four wheel hydraulic brakes in working order. Brake checks will be conducted.

BUMPERS: Bumpers in stock location. Bumpers may be reinforced from behind only. Rear bumpers must be
turned forward or have bracing forward to eliminate sharp ends. Bumpers must be anchored back to frame.

DRIVERS: All drivers must be at least 16 yrs. of age with a valid driver's license!

DRIVESHAFT: Driveshaft must be painted white and have metal strap or chain, located on the forward 1/3 to
prevent from dropping onto the track.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER: An operational fire extinguisher with gauge (minimum 2 ½ pounds) is mandatory. .
Extinguisher gauge must be visible for inspection in a quick release bracket - duct tape not. Acceptable as
mount device.

FIRE SUITS: Drivers must wear an approved fire suit covering arms to the wrist, and legs to the ankle.

FUEL TANK: Must be securely fastened in trunk and painted "day-glo" orange. Drain holes in trunk are
mandatory.

GLASS: All glass except windshield MUST BE REMOVED. Screen or lexan may be used to replace
windshield. Subject to inspection. Windshields or screens with at least 3 steel bars welded to roll cage to
protect driver from debris, bumpers etc.

GLOVES: Nomex gloves required.

HELMET: Drivers will wear a full-face style helmet. For safety, this will be enforced and subject to inspection.

HOOD: Hoods must be securely fastened. There must be two (2) hood pins across the front, subject to
inspection. An air cleaner or fire arrester are mandatory as well.

MIRRORS: No mirrors permitted.

NECK RESTRAINT: Unaltered neck restraint required.

RACING SEAT: Mandatory in all classes.

RADIATORS: Any radiators MUST have a catch can with a two (2) quart minimum capacity. Radiator protection
must be located between the front tires and behind the stock grill, not more than ten (10) inches above the
bumper height. Pipes are not to exceed 2" O.D. by three (3) feet in length.

RADIOS: ABSOLUTELY NO RADIOS ALLOWED ON PREMISES.

ROLL CAGE: There must be a four (4) point roll cage, with three (3) door bars across the driver's door, tied
together with a vertical center bar and anchored to frame. Driver's door must have an 18" x 24" x 1/8" steel
plate mounted outside bars between roll cage and door skin to protect the driver's body. There must be
minimum of one (1) door bar on the passenger side. Entire cage to be constructed on minimum 1 ¾" O.D. steel
tubing with .095" side wall. Car must be equipped with front and rear frame hoops of 1 ½" O.D. minimum size
ahead and behind driver's compartment. Driver's floor to be 1/8" steel of ¼" aluminum plate. All cages will be
inspected and subject to Track Approval.

SEAT BELTS: Must be racing type and quality. A 3" seat belt, 2" or 3" shoulder harness, and submarine strap
are required and subject to inspection. All seat belts must have a manufacturer's date not over 3 years old.

MANDATORY: All components MUST be fastened during racing. Seat belts must fasten to roll cage.

STARTERS: Must be in working order. If a car must be push started two (2) weeks in a row, that car will not
race the 2nd night.

STEERING ALL classes are required to have a

WHEEL: Removable steering wheel.

WEIGHT: Any car crossing our scales under weight, even by 1 lb. will be disqualified. Loss of any weight may
be grounds for disqualification.

WINDOW NETS: Full window nets mandatory. Must be securely mounted from the top & bottom.

WRECKER HOOK: MANDATORY FRONT & REAR! Must be easily accessible. If no wrecker hooks are on car, the
car will be pushed, towed, or dragged to the infield until racing is over. Wrecker driver and track management
are not responsible for damage to car.

CONDUCT - ALL CLASSES

1. ALL DECISIONS OF TRACK OFFICIALS ARE FINAL.
2. Protests to Track Officials will be made by Drivers Only.
3. Any Driver, Car Owner, or Crew Member suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, will be
asked to leave the track and may be subject to suspension.
4. The track assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged tools, vehicles or equipment.
5. In case of injury, only ambulance personnel are to treat the injured person.
6. No video tapes will be viewed to argue a decision made by track officials!
7. ANY DRIVER OR DRIVERS CREW THAT STARTS A FIGHT WILL RECEIVE 2 WEEKS SUSPENSION AND LOSS
OF POINTS AND MONEYS FOR THAT NIGHT, 2ND OFFENCE DRIVER AND CREW WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR ONE
YEAR FROM THE DATE OF INFRACTION. NO FIGHTING WILL BE TOLERATED

POINTS & REGISTRATION

1. All drivers must register their car and number to receive points and money.
2. More than 1 driver may register to drive the same car.
3. Points go to the car . No points will be given to unregistered drivers.
4. All cars must be driven by the driver who qualifies it. Driver changes will result in that car starting in the
rear.
5. If caught driving another car without being registered to drive that car, that car/driver will not receive points
or money for the evening. You must register prior to qualifying the car.
6. If any driver is barred or suspended, that car is also barred.
7. The top 5 finishers of a SEMI FEATURE that move on to the FEATURE, do not receive points for the SEMI.

PROCEDURES - ALL CLASSES

1. Qualifying will take place between 5:30 AND 6:30 PM. If you miss qualifying in your class, you will start at
the rear of the fast heat!
2. If there are 11 or more cars in a class, there will be more than 1 heat. 10 or less = one (1) heat. The slow
qualifiers will be in the 1st heat, fast qualifiers in the 2nd heat.
3. When there are more than 20 cars in any class, there will be a SEMI FEATURE.
4. In the SEMI FEATURE, the fastest qualifiers will start at the front.
5. The top 15 qualifiers are locked into the FEATURE, with the remaining cars running in either the SEMI
and/or Concolation. A total of 20 cars will run in the FEATURE.
6. QUALIFYING WILL CONSIST OF 2 LAPS, YOU WILL GET THE GREEN YOUR FIRST TIME BY THE FLAG
STAND, IF YOU SPIN YOU STAY ON THE CLOCK FOR THAT LAP
7. Drivers can't pass until their car gets to the cone. If you jump the start, it will result in you going to the rear
of the field!
8. The 1st lap of each race must be completed without a yellow flag or a complete restart will apply. After 1
restart, a single file restart will apply. A driver causing two (2) yellow flags in any given race will be sent to the
pits.
9. All restarts will revert back to the last completed lap.
10. Once on the track surface, anyone going into the pits will restart at the rear of the field.
11. When leaving the racing surface and entering the pit area, drivers must proceed slowly and not throw
gravel or put others in danger. You will only be able to return to the racing surface when there is a caution.
Any action that causes danger will result in that car being barred, fined or both, for a length of time seen fit by
track officials.
12. When the White Flag is thrown and a caution (Yellow Flag) comes out, the White Flag will serve as the
Checkered Flag/Last Lap. Do NOT race back to the flag stand!!
13. No drivers are allowed to get out of their car while on the racing surface, unless instructed/permitted by
Track Officials.
14. The top 5 finishers in any FEATURE are subject to inspection and weigh-in. Any rule violations will result in
that car and driver being subject to penalties, which may include loss of points and/or money for the night.
The violation must be fixed by the next race or the car/driver will not race!!
15. If you are asked to leave the track for any reason, at any point in the evening, you and/or including, your
pit crew, will not be refunded any money.
16. Drivers must have raced two (2) previous raves to be eligible to run Championship Night.
17. In the interest on fair racing, if a driver feels another driver is racing illegally, approaches one of the two
(2) inspectors with $50.00. Upon inspection, if the suspected driver is legal, $25 will go to that driver in question
and $25 towards point fund. If the driver is illegal, the driver making the inquiry will get $50 back and the
illegal driver will lose all points and money for that night.
18. Track Officials reserve the right to have any driver start at the rear of the field until the driver proves they
can handle their car.
19 IF YOU ARE NOT LINED UP WHEN YOUR RACE IS CALLED YOU WILL START AT THE BACK. WHEN YOU
ENTER THE TRACK FOR A RACE YOU WILL GET ONE LAP THEN WE WILL GO GREEN.
20. ANY CAR THAT TRACK OFFICIALS SEE AS HAZARDOUS MECHANICALLY OR DRIVEN WILL BE BLACK
FLAGGED AND SENT TO THE PITS.
21. POINTS TOTAL WILL BE BASED ON DRIVERS HIGHEST POINT NITES THROWING OUT THEIR 2 LOWEST
NITES. EXAMPLE: IF YOU RAN 18 NIGHTS FOR POINTS WE WILL SCORE ONLY YOUR BEST 16. CHAMPIONSHIP
NIGHT IS A NONE POINTS NITE.


LIMITED LATE MODELS

APPEARANCE: This class is for aftermarket body style race cars. All cars must be neatly and completely
painted and remain in a professional look. Subject to track approval. Aluminum, fiberglass & aftermarket
bodies only, NO steel bodies allowed!! Wedge type front clip allowed. Front end of car may include a front
loop extending above the nose, but no higher than the hood and must be behind the bumper. If this wedge
type front clip is used, it CAN NOT be used as a ramming device or you will be sent to the pits. Body must
cover 50% of tire. Hoods must have at least 2 hood pins across front. Driver must be able to exit both sides of
car with helmet on!

BRAKES: Must be operated on all 4 wheels upon inspection.

BUMPERS: Front: Front will be constructed of one (1) main 1 1/2" pipe and 1" bracing throughout the bumper,
not to exceed 1" NO square tube bumpers front or rear. Rear: Must be back 3" maximum for push truck
clearance. Rear bumper my not exceed 60", bumpers and rub rails must have rounded and smooth edges with
countersunk/carriage bolts. All ends must be capped. All bumpers are subject to track approval.

CARBURETORS: Any 2 or 4 Barrel allowed.

ENGINE: NO aluminum block or heads. Forward most spark plug must be in line of ball joint +/-1". Aluminum
or stock cast iron intake allowed.

EXHAUST: All cars must have mufflers and meet 100 decibels or less. Stock cast iron manifolds or headers
allowed.

FIREWALL: All cars must have a full floor and enclosed firewall in driver's compartment, subject to inspection.

FRAME: Min. 100-inch wheelbase. Stock factory frame or tube front sub, ok, but tube front sub. Must have stock
lower control arm.

FUEL CELLS: Fuel cells are mandatory and must be protected with an approved steel loop, extending across
the rear of car and to the bottom of fuel cell. NO Alcohol allowed.

HUBS/WHEELS: 10" maximum. Aluminum wheels, Bead locks and wide 5's allowed. No wheel weights.

REAR ENDS: Any stock automotive rear end. Welded or posi-traction and floaters ok. Quick change, ok. No
magnesium center sections allowed.

REAR PANELS: Optional, NOT required! SHOCKS: Coil-over allowed on REAR only.

SPOILERS: Must be securely fastened and not exceed 8" x 72" or total material. A maximum of 45" off of
ground. Braces must be triangular and not exceed 8" x 18".

STEERING: Rack & pinion ok. SUSPENSION: Stock or aftermarket spindles allowed. Extra support approved by
Track Inspector only. Stock lower control arm. Tubular upper A-frame and screw jacks ok. Front Springs
should be mounted in stock manner.

TIRES: 8" (P245-70-D15) or 10" (P285-60-D15) McCreary or American Racing tires allowed.

WEIGHT: Minimum 2,600 lbs. with driver on our scales, after race. Added weight must be mounted in plain
sight, painted white & have the car number painted on it in contrasting color. NO CEMENT OR LIQUID STYLE
WEIGHT IS ALLOWED!! Use of mercury will be cause for lifetime suspension. Weight must be mounted with
minimum of two ½" bolts and must be attached to car securely.

SPORTSMAN'S CLASS SAFETY

RACE RECEIVERS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL CLASSES.

" An operational 2-½ pound minimum fire extinguisher with gauge visible for inspection
" Drivers recommended wearing an approved: Snell-rated SA2000 or SA25005 full face racing helmet (fire suit,
unaltered neck restraint and Nomex gloves are mandatory).
" Vehicle must be equipped with a complete roll cage with center HALO BAR, a five(5) point seat belt fastened
to the roll cage, window net(bolted with a good safe fastener on the top) and a removable steering wheel.
" Driver's heads with helmet on must not rise above the roll bars.
" Drivers are recommended to wear a head sock or helmet skirt.
" Mandatory: 1/8 inch steel or ¼-inch aluminum plate must be used for driver's floor.
" All cars must have an aluminum-racing seat and be fastened to the roll cage. Cable or tie straps must hook
gas caps to fuel cell.

APPEARANCE - A sharp appearance attracts attention for all of us. Future sponsors will look upon the outside
appearance of a car before he looks at the inner workings. Fans cheer for the good lookers if they don't have
a favorite car when they come to the track. Keep body appearance up by replacing parts and new paint jobs
whenever possible. Any 1965 or newer car is permitted in this class. No station wagons or four-wheel drives.
Track officials will decide what is appropriate in this class. Door number MUST be a minimum 4" stroke, with
18" height in CONSTRASTING COLOR. No reflective roof numbers and mandatory 4"x 20" solid numbers
pointed to passenger side of car. No reflective numbers or you may not be scored.

BATTERY - May be located anywhere outside the driver's compartment. It must arrive at the track fully
charged, and must be securely mounted and covered. Car must start under own power in the staging area,
MAY REPORT TO THE REAR OF THE EVENT, IF PUSH STARTED TWO WEEKS IN A ROW.

BODY
" After market bodies are allowed.
" Spoilers: 8" Maximum.
" Body must cover at least ½ of the tire.
" No side windows or air deflector allowed.
" Driver must be able to exit from both sides of the car with helmet on.
" Minimum roof height-45", maximum deck height-35".
" NO BOLTED SLAB SIDE BODIES (ONLY STOCK APPEARING BODIES, Rear roof sail MUST BE THE SAME
LENGTH.
" NO partial, flat, tilted or dished out roofs allowed.
" No wings attached to roof or to side of car.
" No built fiberglass air dams.
" Must be stock appearing.
" All roof posts must meet outside of car.
" Must be full roof.
" Rear roof post supports must meet outside of car on a flat straight line, and be stock appearing. Rear roof
post must be 32" or greater from the rear of trunk.
" Nose piece must match model of car.
" All body sides from nose to tail on cars will have a visible bow outward.
" All Sportsman cars MUST have rear panel 8" minimum height, complete side to side, at 90- degree angle.
Must be solid. May have up to a 6" fuel filler door.
" NOTE: No flares or add on to nose piece.
" Front bumper must be within 45" from the center of the front wheel and the rear bumper, 45" from the center
of rear wheel.
" All structural tubing must remain inside body.
" Front & Rear bumpers not to extend beyond body.
" Bumper heights must be 18"+ or -2" from ground.
" Interior of car must be 13 ½" below roll cage minimum and all area of roof, from front window to behind
driver's seat. No area of the interior of cockpit can be less than 13 ½" below the roof and roll cage for safety.
" Windows must have 13 ½" clearances straight up and down. No support bars blocking right exit from cockpit
allowed.
" Bolt on rub rails only 1X1 square stock only.

BRAKES - Stock four-wheel hydraulic brakes. All in working condition. Neal type brake assembly permitted.
NO shut-off valves. Steel, single piston caliper only. NO brake adjusters in cockpit.

CARBURETOR - Only one (1) Holly #4412-2 bbl carburetor will be allowed. No transverse mount carburetors
allowed, carburetor must be mounted in conventional manner. Aluminum intake manifolds will be allowed. A
1" maximum height adapter plate ONLY. 1" total between intake and carburetor.

CLUTCH - No (in and out) boxes. Must all be clutch operated (with motor running and car in still position, driver
must be able to engage car in gear and move forward and backward at time of inspection). Clutch must be
inside of bell housing. Smallest diameter is 5.5".

DRIVE SHAFT - Steel drive shaft only, MUST be painted white and have a steel drive shaft loop measuring ¼"
thick by 2 inches wide, located on the forward 1/3 to prevent it from dropping on to the track.

ENGINE - Stock American engine. Front spark plug MUST be within 1" in line with the ball joint. You may use
roller rockers. Roller tip rockers are OK. No aluminum heads or blocks. No roller cam shafts, it found it may
result in disqualifications.

EXHAUST - Headers allowed. No 180 headers. Muffler must be welded securely in place. Exhaust must exist
behind the driver's compartment. No existing of exhaust outside body panels. 2 ½" pipe max.

FIREWALL - The firewall at the front of the cockpit shall be a wall of protection against fire from the engine
compartment. It shall be tightly solid from top to bottom. Not allowing air flow from the engine compartment to
the cockpit.

FRAME - All Sportsmen will have minimum 102"wheelbase. All vehicles will be stripped completely of interior,
high back aluminum racing seat mandatory and will be subject to track inspection.

Rear portion on uni-body cars, starting at the leaf spring mounts, may be fabricated or reinforced. The front
sub and rear clip may be connected with MINIMUM 2"X2" square tubing on uni-body cars. After market and
made for racing frames are ok, square tube only must have stock front stub with stock lowers. No Ford strut
type stubs, no round tubing on the main frame rails. All spring mounts must be in stock position. CAMERO AND
FIREBIRD FRONT SUB FRAMES OR UNI-BODIED CARS MUST BE 1981 OR OLDER. Stock front sub from turn outs
forward is mandatory.

FUELS AND FUEL PUMP - Racing fuel is OK. NO alcohol or additives. No electric or belt driven fuel pumps
allowed.

FUEL CELLS - MANDATORY. Tank construction, location and mounting are subject to inspection. A leaking
tank is grounds for disqualification. Must have bladder and check valve on fill pipe. Must have canister around
tank. Must have approved look behind the fuel cell, minimum eight (8) inch clearance. Gas cap MUST be
secured to fuel cell by cable, chain or tie strap.

HUB AND WHEELS - Eight (8) inch wheels maximum. A commercial wheel is recommended. NO wide 5s
allowed. Car must be equipped with safety wheels on the right side and large safety lug nuts. Bead lock on
right rear only. No plastic or carbon fiber wheel allowed.

GLASS - Windshield optional. If used, it MUST be safety glass, Lexan or heavy screen. NO PLEXIGLAS. Use of
Plexiglas will result in suspension for the night. This is subject to inspection. NO MIRRORS ALLOWED.

HOODS - Must be securely fastened, subject to track inspection. An air cleaner and fire arrestor are mandatory.

IGNITION - Any stock appearing distributor. Must accept stock distributor cap. No after- market dual point
ignition or magnetos allowed. No crank fire ignitions. Only stock manufacturer bolt on type parts allowed. Ex:
MSD or Accel replacement coils or odules allowed providing it fits in stock location.

RADIOS - NO radios except mandatory receivers.

RADIATOR - Any type of radiator may be used. Must be in front of the car and not extend through the hood.

REAR AXLE - Locked rear-end MANDATORY. No quick change rear-ends. Floater rear ends allowed.

ROLL CAGE - Must have center halo bar. Four door bars are required in the driver's door. Cage construction
should be a minimum of 1 ½" OD tubing (.095). No aluminum tubing. The driver's seat must be securely
fastened at the bottom and top. Drivers door must have steel 18" x 24" x 1/8", 6"x 12"x 1/8" steel plate mounted
in front of rear trailing arm on drivers side.

SHOCKS - One shock absorber per wheel. No air, coil-over or struts allowed. Steel racing shocks are OK on
the front and rear. Shocks may be relocated no aluminum body shocks. NO Scharder valve shocks.

SEAT BELTS - Must be racing type and quality. A 3' seat belt, 2" or 3" shoulder harness, and submarine strap
are required. All belts must have manufactured date, not more than 3 years old (must be able to read date).
MANDATORY: All components MUST be fastened whenever car is on the track, during racing and qualifying.

SHOCK CLAIM - $75.00 per shock may claim any or all shocks. One claim per driver, per season. May claim
anyone in the top 4 within 5 minutes of end of the feature race. Must finish on the lead lap to be eligible to
claim. Failure to sell: disqualified for the night, loss of points and money for that night only. Must qualify from
rear most spot the following week. This is intended to keep the cost of this class down.

STARTER - Must be in working order. No reverse mount starters

STEERING - Quick steers are OK. No rack and pinion steering.

SUSPENSION - No aluminum suspension pieces. Rear: No coil over or coil over eliminators, no 5th coils, two
trailing arms, one pan hard bar, one pull bar. Leaf spring ok, no composite mono leaf or mono leaf coil
combo, all brackets must be welded to rear end housing. Front: Stock lower "A" frames, stock spindles, stock
rotors, and no mono ball joints. Lower "A" frames must be in stock location, screw jacks ok, shocks may be
relocated, tube uppers w/steel cross shafts ok, no Heims on front allowed, no Ford strut fronts allowed.

TIRES - American Racer P-245 APROVED. American Racers tires only. Tire pressure must be at least 17 lbs on
right rear, after each race.

TRANSMISSION - Any transmission, manual or automatic. No quick-change transmissions. Must have scatter
shield or protective plate 180 degrees around clutch. If L- plate is used, 1/8" steel plate is minimum thickness
that will be allowed. NO Bert type transmission. Must have a disengaged able drive train. NO direct drive
systems. Scatter blankets are allowed.

WEIGHT - 3000 LBS MINIMUM. Added weight must be in plain sight, painted white or silver, Must have the car
number painted on it in a contrasting color and be readable. No cement or liquid style weights. Weights must
be securely mounted to the car with the minimum of two (2) ½" bolts and nuts per 50 pounds of weight. Loss of
any weights may be grounds for disqualification. NO weight on rear bumper or outside body of the car.

WRECKER HOOKS - MANDATORY- FRONT AND REAR. Cable or chain preferred. Tow hook cannot extend in
front of car. Both must be easily accessible. If there are no wrecker hooks on the car, it will be pushed, towed
or dragged to the infield until after the racing program is completed. A $10.00 fine may be assessed for no
useable wrecker hooks. NEITHER WRECKER CREWS NOR RACETRACK PERSONNEL WILL BE RESPONSIBLE
FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE TO THE VEHICLE.


STREETSTOCK CLASS

Note: The car must fit the rules and the driver must be ok to run. This class is designed for the beginner driver
or driver with limited experience. Owendale Speedway reserves the right to move any car and or driver up to
sportsman's class in order to have parity in this class. Drivers must be 16 years old or older.

SAFETY: RACERECIVERS MANDITORY IN THIS DIVISON
" An operational 2 ½ pound minimum fire extinguisher with gauge visible for inspection purpose is mandatory
in each racecar. Extinguisher must be mounted in a quick release bracket.
" Duct tape is NOT an acceptable mounting device!
" Drivers are recommended to wear an approved: SA 95 or newer Racing Helmet (SFI fire suit, unaltered neck
restraint and Nomex gloves are mandatory).
" Drivers head with helmet on MUST NOT rise above the roll bars.
" ALL CARS MUST HAVE A RACING TYPE SEAT AND BE FASTENED TO THE ROLL CAGE.
" All cars must have a cable or tie strap must hook gas cap to fuel cell.

APPERANCE - ABSOLUTELY and completely stock appearing is mandatory. All cars must be 1965 or newer
American made passenger cars with factory steel top. No utility vehicles, sport cars or convertibles. Door and
roof numbers are mandatory. Must have a 4" x 20" number on roof with solid lettering. Number must be able
to be read from the passenger side of car. No mirrors. Keep outside appearance of the car sharp by repairing
whenever necessary. Stock bumpers are mandatory. NO late model type aftermarket nose pieces.

BATTERY - Must arrive at the track fully charged. Battery must be securely mounted in rear of car (trunk area).

BRAKES - 4-wheel disc brakes are allowed. All in working condition (all four must lock in brake test). Racing
pedals and dual master cylinder is allowed. No brake adjustment or shut -off valves. Stock cast calipers only.

BODY - All bodies must be unaltered OEM location. NO altering or channeling of body allowed. NO spoilers,
wings or air scoops allowed. NO raised interiors. Full stock firewall, in stock position, between driver and
engine compartment. All holes left in firewall must be patched with steel, NO boxing in of driver's
compartment. Fenders maybe trimmed for REASONABLE tire clearance. Area between taillights MUST be
filled in with metal or approved tailpiece. NO reflective body panels. NO BODY PANELS BELOW THE FRAME
RAIL. Stock Floor plan must remain in stock location 10" past the driver's seat. May box in from back of cage
to trunk with steel. Bumpers must be stock and in stock location. Bumpers may be reinforced from behind
only. Rear bumpers must be capped to fenders with steel. NO exterior bars allowed. Rounded off rub style
bars OK- maximum of 1" x 1". WRECKER HOOKS ARE MANDATORY IN THE FRONT AND REAR.

CARBURETOR - Two Barrel Carburetors only. Stock Holley 4412 allowed, removal of choke butterfly ok, choke
horn must be left intact, must pass inspection of gauges, no Dorton, Demon or any other made for racing
carburetor.

TRANSMISSION - Stock transmission only. NO AFTERMARKET TRANSMISSION. Manual transmission-ok, stock
type clutch, no multi disc. No direct drive power glides, trans cooler must be mounted away from driver.

ENGINE - The engine must appear to be strictly stock for that model and make of car.
Chevy to Chevy, Ford to Ford, ect. No aluminum (cast iron only) -No roller rockers, roller cams or roller tips.
Engine must be mounted on solid mounts and in stock location. No limit on engine cubes. Front spark plug
must be in front of ball joint. No tall valve covers.

INTAKE MANIFOLD - Any OEM cast iron intake only, may have 1" adapter plate.

DRIVESHAFT - MUST be steel drive shaft and MUST be painted white and have a metal strap or chain hooked
around it. This MUST be located in forward 1/3 of shaft to prevent the shaft from dropping onto the track.

EXHAUST - Headers allowed, 1 ¾" max, must exit under car behind driver. 2 ¼" pipe max.

FRAME - All cars will have no fabricated or made for racing frames. Frames may be reinforced from the back
of the axle housing to the rear of the car ONLY and only if it has no effect on stock suspension. Xing of frame
ok.

FUEL AND FUEL CELLS - Any type regular pump gas is OK. NO alcohol or additives. Stock fuel pumps only (no
aftermarket). NO electric fuel pumps allowed. Fuel cells are MANDATORY and must be securely fastened and
in a canister. Fuel cells must have a bladder and check ball on fill pipe. A leaking tank is ground for
disqualifications. Must have approved loop behind fuel cell. MUST BE PAINTED RED. Gas caps MUST be
fastened to cell with cable, chain, or tie strap.

HUBS AND WHEELS - Eight (8) inch wheels, maximum. Racing wheels are mandatory. Cars must be equipped
with racing wheels and 1" safety lugs. NO bead-locks allowed.

IGNITION - Only stock ignitions. Steel gear on distributor- NO Bronze gears. Must match make and model. NO
aftermarket or dual point ignition systems. NO MSD. NO traction control devices allowed.

RADIOS - NO RADIOS ALLOWED EXCEPT THE MANDATORY RACERECIVERS.

RADIATORS - Any radiators allowed. Must include catch can with two (2) quart minimum capacity overflow
exiting behind rear wheel.

REAR AXLE- All trailing arms must be in stock locations. All bars must be solid and non-adjustable. Rear axle
must be in stock location. Stock rear trailing arms only, Ford 9", ok, and floaters ok.

ROLL CAGE - Roll bar type tubing at least .095 thick tubing only. There must be four (4) bar cage, with three (3)
bars across the driver's door that must be tied together with minimum 2 uprights per loop. Driver's door must
have 18" x 24" x 1/8" steel plate mounted outside bars, between roll cage and door skin in such a way as to
protect the driver's body. Right side cage must have at least two (2) door bars than are tied together also. All
main roll cage and left sidebars will be a minimum of 1½" OD. ABSOLUTELY NO SQUARE TUBING OR
GALVANIZED PIPE ALLOWED. Cars must be equipped with front and rear frame hoops of 1 ½" OD minimum
side ahead and behind driver's compartment. MUST HAVE CENTER HALO BAR.

WINDSHIELD - If windshield is removed you must have three (3) vertical steel rods in front of the driver,
(protective screen is optional). All other glass must be removed.

SEAT LOCATION -Back of seat will be no closer to the center of the rear axle then 31". Measured from the
closest point of the seat or backrest to the rear axle.

SEAT BELTS - Must be racing type quality. A 3" seat belt and a 2" or 3" shoulder harness with submarine strap
are required and subject to inspection. MANDATORY, all components MUST be fastened during races and all
belts must be in good condition may not be any older than 3 years of age. Must be able to read dates. Must be
mounted to cage not floor. If belts are not up to date you will have 1 week to change them, after that week
you will not be allowed to run.

WINDOW NET - MANDATORY! Must be factory made and full size ribbon style and must be securely fastened to
frame, or roll cage, with release at front top left corner.

SHOCKS - Must be in stock location. MADE FOR RACING SHOCKS will be allowed. No Heims.

STARTER - Must be in good working condition. All cars must start on their own in the staging area, if you are
pushed started 2 weeks in a row you may start at the back of the event.

SUSPENSION - Absolutely, completely and strictly stock. May use solid cups and spacers, cups must be welded
in. Racing springs ok. No front steel bushings of any kind. No aftermarket parts allowed. NO adjustable
suspension of any kind anywhere on racecar. No adjustable spring cups or screw jacks allowed. Spring must
in stock location. No mono leafs, no composite leafs. No adjustable shackles or lowering blocks, no Heims.

TIRES - American Racer P-245. Racing tires only. 8" maximum width, 17 lbs in right rear min.

WEIGHT - 3000 LBS MANDATORY WEIGHT. Added weight must be mounted in plain sight, painted white and
must have car number painted on it. No cement or liquid style weights. Weights must be securely mounted
with a minimum of two (2) ½" bolts with nuts and lock washers. Loss of weight may be grounds for
disqualification. Use of mercury will be cause for lifetime suspension.

WRECKER HOOK MANDATORY FRONT AND REAR - Both must be accessible. If no wrecker hooks are on the
car, the car will be pushed, towed, or dragged to the infield until after the racing program is completed.
NEITHER WRECKER CREWS NOR RACE TRACK WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE TO THE CAR.
NOTE: ILLEGAL OR ALTERED PARTS MAY BE CONFISCATED.

ENGINE CLAIM RULES
1. Claim Amount $550.00 plus Swap
2. $50.00 to tow truck, $400.00 to driver and $100.00 to the Point fund.
3. Claim Price may be lowered at any time by Track Owner/Officials.
4. Claim includes complete motor (from flywheel to fan).
5. Claimed motor must be in your car the next week.
6. Only the cars finishing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, can be claimed.
7. The person claiming must finish the feature race on lead, (claimers car must be in running condition and
not smoking).
8. You can only claim two times per season.
9. You must be registered and have made the A main 2 weeks in a row to be eligible to claim.
10. Track may claim at any time.
11. Any person claiming a motor must have a lift plate.
12. If you deny claim you may never run factory stock again.
13. Claim must be approved by track promoter.
14. Claim motor must be out of car within one hour of the claim.
15. Claimed car must be pushed to the pits without starting the car.
16. All claims must be made in the CLAIM AREA immediately after the finish of the feature race. The driver
claiming must remain in the infield along with their car and the car being claimed.
17. Both cars will be inspected before the claimed is deemed approved. If a claimers car is found to be illegal,
the claim will be disqualified and claimer forfeits on of this claims. Owendale Speedway will keep $100.00 for
Drivers Point Fund if your car is found not legal.


ROAD WARRIOR CLASS

CLAIMER RULES: Any car may be claimed. A driver may claim only one from the top four. $750.00 (cash,
correct amount, no checks). Claimed car may not be reclaimed by anyone from the claimed car, such as
family members, crewmember, or friend. Driver must be at least 14 years old. If you refuse to sell you may not
run in this class again. NOTE: This claimer is designed to keep this class a cheap class. Promoter has the
option to buy any car and will to keep the class competitive.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Approved helmet, full fire suit, neck brace, full race type window net and racing gloves.

ROLL CAGE- Minimum of 1.75" O.D. tubing. Wall thickness (095). Loop behind driver. One horizontal bar min.
on passenger side. No bars outside of car. No square tubing. Three drivers door bars min. 18" x 24" x 1/8" plate
in drivers door and behind seat. 1x1 square tube ok for rub rails. Ends must be angled and capped. An
approved roll cage is recommended (but not required). Roll cage must be above driver's head. No bars
through firewall. Roll cage is for driver's protection only. No kicker bars. If there is not a roll cage you must
have four vertical posts, from floor to roof with a minimum 6" x 6" plate on each end, must be bolted to floor
and roof with at least a 3" washer on all four corners. Posts must be a minimum of 1.75" OD (095)
non-galvanized pipe.

CAR TYPE: Any front wheel drive four or six cylinder vehicle as supplied by an American manufacturer sold in
the USA. No sports cars. Maximum wheel base is stock to year and make only. No vans or pick-ups. No turbo or
rotary engines. Front wheel drive cars only.

ACCESSORIES: All glass, headlamps, tail lamps, and sidelights must be removed. All interior carpets,
headliners and extra seats must be removed. Steering column may be moved to side. Racing shaft and
steering wheel, ok.

GRILLS: May be removed and replaced with sheet metal between hood and bumper. Gravel shields and
radiator supports may be removed.

BUMPERS: Manufactured only. A round bar behind rear bumper only. Max 2". No fabricated bumpers. No bars
above or below front or rear bumper. No box, channel or angle iron behind bumpers.

DOOR & TRUNK: Must be welded, wired, chained or banded shut. No double plating, reinforcing, excessive
welding or added braces to frame. TIRES: 8" maximum tread. No grooving, trimming or cutting allowed. All
four tires must be the same size. Maximum 7" steel wheels. No racing tires.

INTERIOR: All sheet metal must stay stock. You may only make room for roll bars. Flammable material must be
removed (carpet, door panels, headliner, etc.).

EXTERIOR: All cars must be painted with numbers on both doors and roof, with driver's name. Numbers must
be a minimum of 16" high with contrasting colors.

DAMAGES: Damaged sheet metal must be replaced with stock sheet metal including wheel housing, trunk,
floors, etc. when removed.

APPEARANCE: All cars must maintain a satisfactory appearance throughout the racing season. Please no
crashed junk.

MOTORS/TRANSMISSIONS: Maximum of 4 or 6 cylinders. Make to make. All parts must remain stock as
supplied by manufacturer.

EXHAUST: Stock exhaust, must exit past driver's seat and must not point down. Mufflers are mandatory, 100
Decibels maximum.

TOW HOOKS: Mandatory, Front and Rear.

BATTERY: One per car, in approved steel box. Cannot be in driver's compartment.

FUEL CELL: Highly recommended. Extra straps on a stock tank recommended. If you are using the original
tank with electric fuel pump in tank (external electric fuel pumps not allowed). It must have a clearly marked
shut-off in reach of the driver.

FIREWALL: Stock firewall between engine and drive and driver and fuel tank. Just covering tank is not
allowed.

LADY RACERS

Any female, 16 years of age or older, with a valid driver's license may sign up to race in this division.
Participation in at least two (2) races is required to run Championship Night. Points are given to the driver and
no driver currently racing in another class at Owendale Speedway can participate in this class.

SPECTATOR DRAGS/MECHANIC RACE

No driver currently racing or registered to race, at Owendale Speedway, will be allowed to participate in
Spectator Drags!!
